Goals

Other than the larger aspirations described previously, a few of our specific goals for a 2005 event are:

-A very special emphasis on youth eco-activism and environmental education from middle school to graduate school.

-The generation of useful materials for attendees, such as databases of local grassroots and other eco-themed organizations and information packets on a range of pressing eco issues.

-Positioning the event as a springboard to encourage the spinning off of ongoing, enhanced networking opportunities for a wide range of eco-involved New Yorkers in order to create conditions propitious to cross-pollination, i.e. new creative collaborations and alliances.
